Job Description
Were seeking a seasoned Citrix VDI Engineer to lead the deployment optimization and maintenance of virtual desktop infrastructure across the enterprise. The ideal candidate will demonstrate deep expertise in Citrix technologies and possess a strategic mindset for enhancing user experience and system stability.
Key Responsibilities-
Design implement and support Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) in complex environments

Administer and optimize Citrix components including StoreFront Director Workspace Environment Manager (WEM) and NetScaler

Manage user sessions troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues and maintain high availability

Work closely with network security and application teams to ensure seamless integration of VDI platforms

Perform capacity planning patch management and regular audits

Document configuration procedures and contribute to knowledge base articles

Provide L3 support for escalated issues and mentor junior engineers

Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Citrix VDI deployment and administration

Strong understanding of Citrix architecture and components: Delivery Controllers Machine Catalogs MCS/PVS HDX technologies

Proficient in Windows Server OS and Active Directory

Experience with profile management solutions (FSLogix Citrix Profile Management)

Familiarity with cloud-hosted VDI (Citrix Cloud Azure Virtual Desktop) preferred

Scripting knowledge (PowerShell) for automation tasks is a plus

Certifications such as CCA-V or CCP-V are advantageous
