Position: Lead Developer
Location: Reston VA
Onsite Position
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the assessment and documentation of current and target-state processes and functional requirements across the enterprise.
Collaborate with customers and enterprise developers to formulate policies and plans that support enterprise goals.
Implement efficient end-to-end processes and maximize the use of existing IT assets.
Align strategic goals and objectives with key business and IT initiatives.
Develop an integrated view of the enterprise using industry-standard techniques frameworks and best practices.
Design develop deploy and manage applications on EKS and other cloud platforms.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams on projects of similar scope and complexity.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
Strong knowledge of programming languages application servers database servers and system architecture.
Advanced expertise in Python and other modern programming languages to address business needs.
Expertise in designing developing deploying and managing applications on EKS.
Hands-on experience with AWS services.
Solid understanding of microservices and containerization.
Familiarity with one or more of the following technologies:
J2EE Java EJB ASP PowerBuilder C C SQL CGI Windows NT Visual Basic Oracle Sybase MQ Series.
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
Professional certifications are highly desirable.
Over 15 years of relevant experience including leading teams on projects of similar scope and complexity.
Proven experience as a lead developer for projects with comparable responsibilities and challenges.
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Experience working in a fast-paced enterprise-level environment.
