About the Position:
Job Title: Cybersecurity Incident Management Exercises Facilitator - Hybrid Onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitate engaging tabletop exercises guiding participant role-play scenario walkthroughs and structured discussions.
- Use provided facilitation scripts agendas and checklists to ensure consistent delivery.
- Help participants evaluate their organizations readiness roles and response coordination during simulated cyber events.
- Encourage collaborative discussion across diverse participants including IT staff emergency responders leadership and administrative personnel.
- Collect participant feedback during or after the session and summarize key observations.
- Coordinate with staff for pre-event preparation and post-event debriefing.
- Represent professionally in all public-facing engagements.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in facilitation training incident response or tabletop exercise delivery.
- Leads in-person tabletop exercises across state.
- Facilitates participant discussion scenario walkthroughs and role-playing.
- Ensures adherence to provided facilitation scripts and checklists.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with confidence in leading structured interactive sessions.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and incident response planning.
- Experience working with public-sector entities or community leadership groups.
- Ability to manage session flow time and group dynamics effectively.
- Willingness and ability to travel across the state including rural or remote areas.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HSEEP CISA tabletop frameworks or continuity of operations (COOP) drills.
- Background in cybersecurity emergency management or public-sector IT.
- Previous work with K 12 schools municipalities or counties.
