Job Description
We are seeking a skilled SAP FICO Functional Consultant with specific expertise in Lease Accounting to support and enhance our S/4HANA CLM environment. The ideal candidate will lead lease management processes support monthly closes ensure compliance and collaborate cross-functionally to drive efficiency and best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lease Accounting & System Management
- Manage and support the SAP Leasing S/4H CLM module to ensure accurate timely lease transaction recordings.
- Configure and maintain SAP FICO components related to lease management.
- Customize reports and ensure data integrity in lease-related functions.
Process Ownership & Continuous Improvement
- Own end-to-end lease system processes and support monthly/quarterly close cycles.
- Identify and implement process improvements in collaboration with technical teams.
- Lead blueprint preparation and oversee system testing validation and go-live activities.
Training & Support
- Train end users on lease-related functionality.
- Provide ongoing troubleshooting and day-to-day support.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with teams including ITS Lease COE AER and Finance to resolve system issues and coordinate integration and testing efforts.
Compliance & Leadership
- Ensure adherence to lease accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16/ASC 842).
- Mentor and guide process owners and junior team members.
Required Skills & Experience:
- SAP FICO Expertise Deep knowledge of SAP FICO modules including:
- GL AR AP AA BA CEA CCA PCA IO TR
- Strong focus on Lease Accounting SAP RE-FX RAR Central Finance
- Financial Accounting Knowledge Solid understanding of lease accounting principles and compliance regulations.
- Business Process Analysis Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical specifications.
- Project Management Experience with SAP implementation/rollout projects.
- Troubleshooting Proactive in diagnosing and resolving SAP FICO-related issues.
- Communication Strong interpersonal skills to interact across functional teams.
