Job Description
Duties:
- An interventional radiology technologist will assists interventional radiologists with minimally invasive image-guided procedures that use instruments to treat conditions in the body.
- They are responsible for operating and maintaining specialized imaging equipment administering contrast dyes and ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum one (1) year of experience using angiographic equipment balloon angioplasty and stenting.
Required Education:
- Associates degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
Required Certifications & Licensure:
- Valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by NYSDOH.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Advanced-Level Certification from ARRT to include one of the following: -ARRT (CI) - Cardiac Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (CV) - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology. -ARRT (VI) - Vascular Interventional Radiology
