Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging science lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Deliver high-quality instruction in various science subjects including but not limited to biology chemistry and physics.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and engagement.
- Utilize diverse teaching methodologies to accommodate varying learning styles and needs.
- Assess and evaluate students progress through regular quizzes assignments and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and report to parents and school administration.
- Conduct laboratory experiments and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
- Foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills among students through hands-on activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support a cohesive educational program.
- Provide mentoring and guidance to students for academic and personal growth.
- Organize and participate in school-wide events and science fairs.
- Stay updated with the latest educational trends and advancements in science education.
- Engage in continuous professional development and training opportunities.
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to curriculum enhancement initiatives.
- Encourage parental involvement and communication regarding student progress.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Science Education or a related field.
- A valid teaching certificate/license for secondary education.
- Proven experience in teaching science subjects at the middle or high school level.
- Strong understanding of science curriculum standards and educational best practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with students and staff.
- Proficient in using educational technology and digital tools.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
