Position: TGT Computer Teacher
Location: On-site in India
Role Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement computer science curriculum for students in grades 6-10.
- Organize engaging classroom activities that enhance learning experiences.
- Assess and evaluate student progress and provide feedback.
- Utilize various teaching methodologies to accommodate different learning styles.
- Incorporate technology into lessons to promote digital literacy.
- Prepare instructional materials and resources for effective teaching.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage positive interactions among students.
- Facilitate group projects that encourage collaboration and teamwork.
- Communicate with parents regarding student progress and school activities.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in computer education.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.
- Engage with the wider school community to promote computer science initiatives.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to integrate computer education across disciplines.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or Education.
- Teaching certification in relevant subjects.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in teaching computer subjects.
- Strong knowledge of computer programming concepts and software applications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create a positive learning environment.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other educators.
- Commitment to student-centered teaching practices.
- Experience with diverse student populations.
- Ability to adapt lessons to meet students individual needs.
- Knowledge of current educational standards and best practices.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity in lesson planning.
