Job Description
As a Senior .NET Azure Developer you will:
- Design develop and maintain scalable applications using the .NET framework and Azure cloud services.
- Work in agile development squads contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
- Lead and enhance CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps YAML and Bicep for continuous integration and delivery.
- Ensure secure and compliant applications with a strong focus on vulnerability management and Azure security best practices.
- Guide and implement quality engineering practices such as TDD BDD and automated testing frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with product owners to discuss and implement technical improvements into sprint planning.
- Drive improvements in development processes and mentor team members on best coding and DevOps practices.
- Support infrastructure as code using Azure CLI and manage deployments across IAAS and PAAS environments.
What You Bring to the Table:
- Overall 12 years of experience in software development.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in .NET ( Core .NET 8 Web APIs) and SQL.
- Minimum 4 years working in Agile environments.
- Proven experience with Azure DevOps CI/CD (YAML/Bicep) and Azure CLI.
- Proficiency in Azure services like App Service Functions Key Vault Entra ID (formerly Azure Active Directory) and ADF.
- Strong knowledge of security topics including vulnerability management and cloud compliance.
- Experience with OAuth Azure App Registrations and mocking frameworks.
- Familiarity with code repositories and collaboration using Git.
- Exposure to finance/banking back-office systems is a strong plus.
You should possess the ability to:
- Translate complex technical features into beginner and advanced-level explanations for team members.
- Guide and mentor developers in applying Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using tools like Cucumber.
- Effectively manage and contribute within small agile squads (typically 3 persons).
- Communicate technical decisions and improvements with clarity to both peers and non-technical stakeholders.
- Steer CI/CD enhancement initiatives and ensure secure scalable code practices.
