Purpose of role: This role will be responsible to maintain and develop sales growth for all John Crane product portfolio in Medan area
Key Activities:
- Promote and sell John Crane Products in accordance with the company policy pricing guidelines and regulations.
- Execute plan to exceed sales targets from existing and new customer account
- Presenting the product range and its technical attributes / benefits for customers and maintaining relationship
- Provide training program for all customers in area.
- Support and coordinate customer enquiries quote preparation for non-pricelist products and work with Application Engineering
- Develop/Maintain contracts with customers in the form of inventory management service and reliability.
- Facilitate price and negotiations in accordance with the guidelines
- Actively involvement in the delivery of goods invoicing and collections on payment from the customers.
- Preparation of monthly reports to communicate plan and progress.
- Adhere to Safety procedure and policies in accordance with safety management system. Including:
- Active participation and contribution to specific safety initiatives in meetings.
- Report all hazardous and unsafe acts.
- Actively promote positive safety culture.
- Adhere to Quality procedure and policies in accordance with the Integrated ISO Management System (9001; 14001; 45001) (where applicable) quality assurance system. Including:
- Compliance to work instructions.
- Raising corrective actions for all non-conformances.
- Identifying areas requiring improvement and / or audit
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
Experience
- Min 3 years experience in similar capacity
- Technical Skills
- Diploma/Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred)
- Sound knowledge of rotating and process equipment knowledge of mechanical seals
- People Skills
- Ability to effectively manage and communicate in both written and spoken English
