- Provide friendly and efficient service to students staff and visitors in the school
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages light snacks and pre-prepared foods
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all areas of the caf including counters seating and equipment
- Restock supplies and ensure displays are well-presented and inviting
- Assist with general kitchen duties including basic food prep and cleaning
- Ensure compliance with food safety and health regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service fostering a welcoming atmosphere in the caf
- Support occasional school events or functions as required
- Assist with setting up and serving meals to pupils and staff
- Helping with deliveries and storing
- Support hospitality events as required
Qualifications :
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a catering or cleaning environment (desirable but not essential)
- Basic understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices
- Level 1 Food Hygiene Certificate (can be provided during training)
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
- Reliable punctual and professional in appearance and attitude
- Positive can-do approach to work
- Physically able to be on your feet for extended periods and carry out manual tasks
- Willingness to learn and adapt to a busy school environment
