Job Description

Strategic leadership role responsible for growing revenue through indirect channels including resellers VARs distributors and inbound partnerships with third-party technology providers. In addition this executive will drive operational excellence across the partner ecosystem and commercial deal support functions. This executive will be working cross-functionally with Sales Legal Finance Product and Marketing owning the infrastructure systems and policies that support complex deal structures and partner growth at scale.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner Operations Leadership

  • Develop and execute a global partner operations strategy to support channel technology and strategic alliances.
  • Design and implement operational frameworks for partner onboarding enablement performance tracking certification programs and lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with Partner Marketing Product Management and Sales to operationalize co-selling and joint GTM motions.

Inbound Business Development (Third-Party Technology)

  • Identify evaluate and prioritize inbound partnership opportunities with complementary technology providers.
  • Lead negotiations for co-marketing co-selling OEM white-label or integration-based business models.
  • Build and manage frameworks for reselling third-party ISV solutions through our platform and partner ecosystem including pricing commercial packaging and go-to-market governance.
  • Partner with Sales Pricing Product Legal and Finance teams to operationalize ISV resell motions service bundling and value-added offerings.

Partner Services Enablement

  • Drive operational readiness and alignment for partner-delivered services including implementation integration and managed services.
  • Collaborate with the Professional Services Customer Success and Enablement teams to build training certification and knowledge management programs for partners.
  • Establish frameworks for partner services accreditation delivery oversight and quality control.

Deal Strategy & Execution

  • Support the global Deal Desk function responsible for reviewing and structuring complex enterprise channel and co-sell deals.
  • Establish scalable deal processes including pricing approvals non-standard terms review and contract workflows.
  • Serve as a senior point of escalation for high-value or strategic deals.
  • Partner closely with Legal Finance Product Management and Sales Ops to ensure compliance and deal velocity.

Systems Tools and Analytics

  • Oversee systems related to partner management and deal desk operations (e.g. Salesforce CPQ PRM tools CLM platforms).
  • Drive automation and workflow optimization across quoting approvals partner tracking and some compensation components.
  • Build and contribute to executive dashboards for partner contribution to pipeline/revenue.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Build scale and lead a high-performing team across partner operations deal desk support and supporting analytics.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement operational rigor and strategic thinking.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the SVP of GTM operations and executive leadership team on deal health partner performance and revenue risk.

Qualifications:

  • 10 years of experience in Partner Operations Deal Desk or Revenue Operations roles in SaaS or technology companies.
  • 5 years in a senior leadership role with experience building cross-functional teams.
  • Deep understanding of SaaS pricing models partner incentives and deal structures (direct indirect co-sell).
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce CPQ platforms (e.g. SFDC CRM Salesforce CPQ MindMatrix) PRM tools and workflow automation.
  • Excellent analytical negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proven track record of partnering closely with Legal Finance and Sales on strategic deal support.

Work Location: This role is fully remote for candidates who reside outside the 50 mile radius of our San Ramon office. For candidates who reside within 50 miles of our San Ramon location this role is Hybrid and would require 3 days a week (M W TH) in our San Ramon office.

The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the job across the United States. Additionally the total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus stock and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.

All compensation and benefits are subject to the requirements and restrictions set forth in the applicable plan documents and any written agreements between the parties.

The US base salary range for this role is below.
$225000$394000 USD
