Job Description

Summary: Manage and can complete daily operations of site personnel chemistry reporting budget and maintenance programs. These positions will be responsible for the oversight of small to medium single on-site customer contract operations on a day-to-day basis. They provide the leadership (planning scheduling coordinating assigning and directing) to the Field Service Reps ensuring that all the contract terms conditions requirements and standards of a contract are satisfactorily managed.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of large multi sites/contract operations ensuring compliance with formal contractual obligations and performance criteria.
  • Process complexity: Complex advanced multi treatment trains of Inorganic or Organic wastewater.
  • O&M projects are managed effectively and comply with contractual operational maintenance and profitability requirements.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships with sales force management and customer.
  • Can perform the duties of most of the positions that are managed
  • Can troubleshoot systems maintain inventory management and perform system audits
  • Schedules work requirements to meet the day-to-day O&M requirements
  • Plan develop and implement strategies for operational management that meet the agreed contract performance requirements within budget and timeframes.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of contract language terms and conditions.
  • Assist project developers in pursuing new business and contract renewal
  • Manages up to 10 or more direct and indirect reports with an operational budget of 5 million dollars or more
  • Independence Level/Reports to: High Independence
  • Accountable for meeting annual objectives of contract
  • Budget responsibility
  • Prepares internal and external reports
  • Communicate report and resolve issues with minimal support from Operations Management team
  • Primary customer contact
  • Reports to Regional Manager/District Manager

Qualifications:

Education/Work Experience: 3 to 5 years experience in the operations and maintenance of wastewater or water operations 3 to 5 years experience of managing / supervising employees
Water or Wastewater treatment licenses as required by law Experience in managing multi sites or operations Degree in technical field/engineering equivalent

Education/Experience:

Associate degree (A.S.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read analyze and interpret general business periodicals professional journals technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to draft reports business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the public.

Math Ability:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts interest commissions proportions percentages area circumference and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form.

Computer Skills:

To perform this job successfully an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word Microsoft Excel project management software and database software.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Manages one subordinate supervisor who supervises employees. Also directly supervises non-supervisory employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing hiring and training employees; planning assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

The employee is occasionally required to taste or smell.

Annual or Hourly Compensation Range

The total Compensation range for this position is $79000-$118400 which includes base pay and target incentive based on performance per plan terms. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as experience education training geography etc. We comply with all minimum wage and overtime laws.
