Position Purpose:

The Manager of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for proactively identifying opportunities to improve payment processing implementing cost of acceptance reduction strategies and facilitating dynamic debit card transaction routing.

The Manager of COA & Payments Analytics is responsible for managing the data pipelines and driving analytics in support of THDs payments acceptance strategy across the US Canada and Mexico including all THD affiliates.

Key Responsibilities:

Payments Analytics

  • Developing a reporting suite of KPI tracking forecasts and alerts to help manage the business; partner with IT and the business to resolve any issues that arise with customer payment acceptance and fraud.
  • Partners with IT to maintain existing data feeds and ingest new data as needed.

Payment Processing

  • Ensuring accuracy of THDs payment processing costs and network fees identifying trends and resolving discrepancies with the payment processors and card brands.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to accurately track report and manage payment acceptance costs across the entire payments ecosystem.

Team Support

  • Lead and mentor a team of payment professionals fostering a culture of high performance collaboration and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Skills Required: SQL Python Excel Tableau Machine Learning tools understanding of technical architecture concepts
  • Strong organizational skills to manage projects end-to-end
  • Experience with project management tools
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Proactive collaborative and professional
  • Collaborates effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders at various levels
  • Escalates when appropriate for support from leadership
  • Payments Expertise a Plus
