CTE Coordinator
THE ROLE
LEAD Charter School seeks an exceptional CTE Coordinator to join our mission-driven community. The CTE Coordinator will work with the leadership and assessment team to provide site-based CTE programming development specific CTE assessments and operational support for alternative education programs serving opportunity youth. The primary responsibilities of the CTE Coordinator are project & data management testing coordination and CTE development.

- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience with comparable work
- Experience working with at-risk youth and students in alternative settings to support and ensure their educational and social-emotional success.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Project & Data Management
- Monitor and support key priorities in the networks alternative schools and programs.
- Track attendance and performance in both alternative schools and programs in order to help inform practice such as but not limited to assessments.
- Monitor the data collection process across the network of schools.
- Review analyze and evaluate performance data to inform decisions that support key objectives.
- Perform other tasks and assume such other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Operating Officer.
Assessment
- Support the districts assessment goals as part of quality initiatives & programming.
- Work with administration to assign or delegate specific assessment duties.
- Support the administration of all required school wide and state assessments.
- Coordinate with technical assistants to make certain the proper functioning of equipment for any online assessments.
- Facilitate any required assessment training; handling of testing materials; scheduling of testing locations.
CTE Program Development
- Strengthening existing programs to secure state approval/renewal.
- Assist in creating new high-quality career education program applications for state approval.
- Oversee the management and development of the Career and Technical Education programs and its implementation ensuring the delivery of curriculum CTE assessments programs of study with articulation agreements and career awareness activities.
- Builds and maintains relationships with current industry partners network community members and other stakeholders to enhance CTE programs.
- Creating opportunities for hands-on learning internships and pre-apprenticeships/apprenticeships while working with internal and external partners.
- Ensuring pre-apprenticeships/apprenticeship programs are available & YP complete programs successfully.
- Providing professional development to teachers and staff on CTE best practices and resources.
- Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of CTE programs and student outcomes.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Obtain CIP codes for new programming to secure Perkins Funding. Provide data as needed. (Allied health Carpentry etc)
- Builds and maintains relationships with future networks and industry partners community members and other stakeholders to enhance CTE programs.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- 12-month employee.
- Salary to be recommended by the Head of School and approved by the board.
EVALUATION
- Performance will be evaluated annually in accordance with the boards policy on evaluation.
