Were looking for an ESG Finance Business Partner to join our Group Financial Planning & Analysis team. This role will work closely with our Responsible Business team supporting the delivery of Kingfishers ESG strategy and reporting requirements.
ESG reporting is a consistently evolving area and will require the successful candidate to work collaboratively to build tools and processes and form relationships across multiple functions and Banners. The role will support delivery of reporting inline with new EU Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other upcoming requirements.
Act as a key finance partner to the Responsible Business team supporting all areas of ESG finance including:
ESG strategy development
ESG investment analysis
Business case development and cost management
Support the development of ESG reporting (e.g. EU CSRD) by contributing to tactical and strategic reporting solutions including:
Designing building and documenting reporting processes
Defining ESG KPIs and identifying required data inputs
Developing processes to analyse and validate reporting outputs
Supporting calculation and tracking of ESG targets
Build and maintain strong cross-functional and cross-group networks to ensure successful delivery of ESG reporting and strategy initiatives
Contribute to long-term planning and target setting including climate-related goals through advanced modelling and scenario analysis
Provide strategic analysis and insights to support the Responsible Business team acting as a trusted finance advisor on ESG-related matters
