Job Description
Responsibilities:
Conduct daily waste collection routes using assigned vehicles and equipment.
Safely operate waste collection trucks compactors and other specialized equipment.
Ensure compliance with waste collection regulations and company policies.
Inspect maintain and clean waste collection equipment regularly.
Sort and segregate recyclable materials from non-recyclables.
Handle and dispose of hazardous waste materials according to established guidelines.
Communicate with supervisors colleagues and customers to address service-related issues or concerns.
Complete necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
Participate in training sessions and stay updated on waste management best practices.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Experience in waste management recycling or a related field is desirable.
- Knowledge of waste collection regulations and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate waste collection vehicles and equipment.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects repeatedly.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible work schedules.
- Commitment to safety and environmental sustainability.

6:00am - 4:30pm
