Position Overview
Were hiring a Product Owner to lead our HR module a central pillar in our growing HRIS platform. Youll own the roadmap partner with cross-functional teams and drive the buildout of tools that support the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to offboarding compliance performance and more.
To succeed in this role you must bring deep knowledge of HRIS platforms HR workflows and regulatory compliance. Youll play a strategic and tactical role shaping vision while getting hands-on with specs use cases and feature delivery.
The Ideal Candidate
- You know HR software inside and out
- Youve owned HRIS products end-to-end and loved it
- Youre comfortable with compliance and system architecture
- You collaborate across tech product and client-facing teams
- You balance strategy with sprint-level detail
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision roadmap and strategy for the HR module
- Drive discovery and define requirements for new and enhanced features
- Work closely with BAs UX/UI engineers and QA teams to ship best-in-class tools
- Improve HR workflows like onboarding employee management document tracking and performance
- Ensure tight integrations with related modules (Payroll Time Benefits)
- Stay up to date on compliance changes and ensure the platform meets legal requirements
- Conduct competitive research and partner with internal stakeholders and clients to gather feedback
- Prioritize features and track progress using agile methodologies
Qualifications
- 5 years as a Product Owner or Product Manager in HRIS or HCM platforms
- Strong understanding of HR processes and compliance (e.g. I-9 EEO E-Verify ACA)
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and launching high-quality software
- Strong technical fluency with HRIS workflows and data
- Skilled in writing user stories defining use cases and managing sprints
- Proven ability to balance user needs with business goals
