Level 1 Robotic Test Operator

Description

Mini-Circuits designs manufactures and distributes integrated circuits modules and sub-systems for high performance radio frequency (RF) and microwave applications. With design sales and manufacturing locations in over 30 countries Mini-Circuits products are used in a range of wired and wireless communications applications. Our products are also used in detection measurement and imaging applications including military communication guidance and electronic countermeasure systems commercial scientific military land sea and aircraft; automotive systems medical systems and industrial test equipment.

Mini-Circuits sells our products to over 20000 customers globally through our direct sales force applications engineering staff sales representatives as well as through our extensive web site.

Position Summary:

Performs daily testing activities on the robot integrated work cells as per documented procedures & under supervision.

Salary Range: $18.00 - $ 22.50 per hour

Job Function:

• Perform automated testing of electronic components.
• Make robot integrated test setups under supervision as per specifications (-50 page) block diagram and procedures.
• Set up robot by loading carrier tape cover tape and units.
• Keep robot fed with untested units.
• Ensure robot is running without interruption or call Team Leader.
• Print test reports ten-unit summary and show to Team Leader / Supervisor for approval.
• Segregate reject quantity and flag Team Leader or Supervisor if reject quantity goes above threshold for model number under test.
• Segregate nonconforming products.
• Upon completion of production run record production run info as called out on Robotic log program & QC sheet.
• Work in accordance with all company procedures.
• Perform ESD check.
• Responsible for maintenance of tools test equipment and test accessories.
• Check equipment calibration status.
• Responsible for keeping work area neat and clean.
• Any other job-related activity as assigned by the team leader/supervisor/manager.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Optional related experience in Electronic Electrical or Electro-mechanical testing.
• Experience in basic computer operations in Windows.
• Ability to assist in lifting heavy test equipment weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Level 1 operators are expected to occasionally provide inputs/ideas that can improve Robotic Testprocess efficiency and output.
