Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Location: Los Angeles CA Onsite
Employment Type: Temporary Contract
Rate:$19-20 per hour
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Pick pack and ship daily orders
- Replenish picking locations as needed
- Cycle count inventory
- Pallet assembly with products to ship
- Loading small and large parcels and pallets
- Maintain neat and orderly workspace
- Sort count and palletize incoming freight
- Work independently with a sense of urgency and purpose
- Make decisions based on quantity of work and required finishing time to meet shipment deadlines
- Any other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Key Qualifications:
- At least 6 months of previous work experience preferably in a warehouse or manufacturing type of environment
- High School Diploma required
- Experience with all carriers UPS FedEx USPS DHL
- Experience with pick and pack items to ship domestically and internationally with carriers standards
- Experience using ERP systems and following best practice to ensure inventory is tracked correctly
- Experience with warehouse equipment including hand truck pallet jack.
- Excellent communication both verbal and written
- Ability to follow instructions
- Detail oriented
- Must be a team player
- Stand bend stoop and lift for 8-hour shift
- Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled environment
- Maximum unassisted lift 50 lbs. average lift less than 20 lbs.
- Requires ability to use a keyboard monitor scanner and calculator
- Requires the ability to communicate verbally
- Requires use of warehouse equipment including hand truck pallet jack sit down forklift and reach truck
- Work overtime as required
