You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailAs Specialist Housing Worker you will provide expert housing advice and support to help individuals and families avoid homelessness or secure safe affordable housing. You will be the primary housing specialist across two multidisciplinary programs and Place for Change offering guidance to colleagues and helping shape effective housing solutions.
You will also build strong partnerships with local housing providers including real estate agents housing associations and the Department of Families Fairness and Housing (DFFH) to expand access to appropriate housing options. Your work will support women and children at risk of homelessness due to family violence as well as adults who use violence by providing tailored housing responses that prioritise safety and stability.
