We are YSS!
YSS is seeking a creative fun and community-minded Marketing Events Coordinator to help bring our mission to life through meaningful events and public engagement. In this dynamic role youll plan and execute events that inspire inform and connect people to the heart of YSSs work. From community fundraisers to awareness campaigns youll create experiences that deepen support for youth and families across Iowa.
As a member of the communications team youll collaborate across departments to ensure events reflect our brand and values while also spotlighting the impact of our programs. Youll build strong relationships with local businesses service groups and community partnersgrowing awareness expanding partnerships and celebrating our supporters.
Youll also help share the YSS story by gathering testimonials capturing event photos and videos and contributing to marketing efforts that boost visibility and engagement.

MUST HAVES - Required Qualifications: You have...
- A Bachelors degree
- At least 1full yearof relevant experience
SHOULD HAVES - Preferred Qualifications: You...
- Have aBachelors degree in events management communications marketing or a related field
- Can craft compelling messages that resonate with diverse audienceswhether through social media email campaigns presentations or one-on-one conversations.
- Have interned volunteered or stepped up as a student leader.
- Are familiarwith platforms like Better Impact Points of Light Service Enterprise Initiative or Iowa States student engagement systems
- Demonstrate creativity by generating fresh ideas finding innovative solutions and approaching challenges with a flexible imaginative mindset.
- Are ateam player by nature and can:
