Role Description:

Arcadis is seeking aWeb Application Developerto join and support our team.This position will work a hybrid schedule in our client office in New Jersey.

Role Accountabilities:

• Perform services to maintain and enhance existing Engineering customized .Net applications.
• Develop and maintain interfaces and integrations between various Engineering applications including but not limited to data transfer using in-house or third-party web services SQL Server ETL packages SharePoint online data import and export Azure Data Lake data import and export and Esri GIS integration.
• At the direction of the Authority and in coordination with the Application group Project Manager and Technical Lead design develop test and deploy new custom applications as required.
• Maintain and support the SQL Server Report Services (SSRS) reports for Engineering applications.
• Provide general Engineering help desk support as a member of the Applications Support Team.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Minimum 5 years strong demonstrated experience in web application full stack development using Web Forms and MVC
• Minimum 5 years strong demonstrated experience in C# programming with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns and Engineering Solutions
• Minimum 5 years strong demonstrated experience in developing frontend using HTML CSS JavaScript and jQuery
• Minimum 2 years strong demonstrated experience in developing .NET applications with React; as the frontend and Node; as backend middleware or service layers
• Minimum 2 years strong demonstrated experience in database design and development in a Microsoft SQL Server environment including stored procedure functions and data modeling proficient in Entity Framework or other ORM technologies.
• Minimum 2 years strong experience developing or maintaining system integration interface REST API and web services
• Minimum 1-year solid demonstrated experience with version control tools Git and Azure DevOps and report development using Microsoft SSRS
• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite including Word PowerPoint Excel and demonstrate proficiency with Adobe Acrobat Pro

Key Skills and Abilities:

• Self-motivated with the ability to prioritize meet deadlines and manage changing priorities.
• Effective communication teamwork and project management abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AI API integration knowledge of machine learning workflows and leverage pre-trained models is highly preferred.
• Experience with UI/UX design in Figma or similar platform is highly preferred.
• Experience with build/deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes is highly preferred.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Experience in Python and Esri GIS data integration is preferred.
• Experience with Enterprise Content Management solutions such as SharePoint or OpenText are preferred.
• Familiarity with web security best practices and authentication frameworks (e.g. OAuth2 JWT)
• Some exposure or knowledge developing or maintaining application in the Azure cloud environment.
• Experience working with large public government agencies within the construction industry a plus.

We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per salary range for this position is $100000 - $120000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors such as experience education budget internal equity project and location.
