The opportunity
Manages or performs work across multiple Marketing sub-families including: Product/Brand Marketing. Defining targeted customer segments and associated messaging. Developing marketing strategies and plans Product/Brand Management (P&L Accountability). Analyzing markets to identify opportunities determine product requirements and inform marketing strategies. Managing the product/brand P&L Advertising & Promotion. Creating or coordinating the production and distribution of) advertising and promotional materials Marketing Research & Analysis. Gathering and analyzing marketplace trends and customer data A Senior Professional (P3) applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: Managing projects / processes working independently with limited supervision. Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
How youll make an impact
For product marketing you will be responsible for planning of the Grid & Power Quality Solutions product & portfolio marketing activities. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the business and across global functions to ensure that our products & solutions are well positioned in the market.
Competitive & Market intelligence- For assigned portfolio stay informed on customer segments and key values that drive buying behavior. Drive awareness around key market drivers latest major events etc. through regular marketing assessments.
Product branding- In line with Hitachi Energy Marketing and Communication you will be responsible to lead the product branding efforts and conduct rebranding of marketing materials in line with new company identity.
Sales enablement- Support product sales activities by overseeing product launches and education through customer focused sales decks ROI calculators reference sheets website landing pages product material etc.
Event Management: Ensure presence in regional and global events ensuring showcase of relevant portfolio with relevant tools as well as creative exhibits including but not limited to VR AR and other digital apps and physical exhibits.
Lead demand generation activities for products and solutions through multi-channel campaigns that target new and existing prospects in key segments and regions. Use a complete set of marketing tactics to meet business goals (SEM advertising physical and virtual events email marketing webinars digital campaigns etc)
Deliver actions on time and within budget
Drive the selection and adoption of innovative digital marketing tools to support sales. (Examples: Hitachi Energy Explorer platform and the management and maintenance of a proper digital data storage platform for marketing materials and customers reference cases).
In terms of processes you will work together with the GPQSS Global Product Marketing Manager.

Your background:
Bachelors degree in Engineering Marketing Business or similar.
8- 10 years experience ideally with a technology-based organization.
Good understanding of Hitachi Energys relevant markets customers competition offering and capabilities.
Experience in driving digital marketing initiatives in the energy sector.
A collaborative solutions-oriented approach with strong communication and customer-relationship-building skills.
Fluency in English is a must requirement.
