POSITION FUNCTION:
The Data Entry Clerk provides data entry and administrative support for IRCC funded settlement programs.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide administrative and clerical assistance including but not limited to:
- Data Entry:
- Entry of existing client files into MOSAIC database
- May support program support workers with iCARE bulk upload entries
- Maintain paper and electronic files and databases;
- May do word processing spreadsheets and presentations;
- Enter/record financial and other data; may code and obtain relevant approvals for invoices;
- May document client/student activities in databases or document and collect data to produce contractual reports or statistics for
- May order/purchase supplies (office program event);
- Code and process invoices and submit to finance
- Data Entry:
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of office management principles methods and procedures;sorting/filing techniques records retention policies and schedules; proper spelling grammar punctuation and sentence structure; documentation of services and diversity; specific knowledge related to the function or the focus of the program project or service.
- Secondary diploma and/or equivalent course work or experience in office management principles methods procedures;
- knowledge of sorting/filing techniques records retention policies and schedules;
- knowledge of proper English spelling grammar punctuation and sentence structure;
- Documentation of services and diversity; specific knowledge related to the function or the focus of the program project or service.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite publishing software (Adobe Creative Suite WordPress)

HOURS: full-time position 35 hours per week. 4-week fixed-term contract
Able to work weekends or evenings if required
The successful candidates must be able to commute to5575 Boundary Rd. Vancouver British Columbia V5R 2P9 every weekday. Hybrid work may be an option.
