The role

The Senior Planning Officer Transport Advisory provides policy planning and operational advice on land use and transport planning matters. The role assists with planning and assessment of State significant projects to meet all statutory obligations and Government priorities for a more robust and efficient state planning system.

Be a key player in major development projects that will shape the future of Sydney and NSW. Our dynamic team provides strategic guidance and co-ordination of transport studies with key stakeholders for projects within the State Significant Rezoning Program Major Project Assessments and technical support to ensure robust strategic planning decisions. Examples of recent and current projects include the NSW Governments TOD Program State-led rezonings at Kurnell Peninsula West Schofields Marsden Park North and State-assessed rezonings for Leppington Town Centre and Moore Point.

You will provide transport planning and analytical support assist with the management of technical advisors and coordinate with project partners and stakeholders such as Transport for NSW and councils to identify and resolve integrated land use and transport issues.
