Job Description

We are seeking an Environmental Resource Tech in Coraopolis PA


-Identifying and classifying streams including stream morphology
-Stream restoration design
-Erosion and sedimentation management
-Surface mining permits
-Environmental compliance and inspection
-Biological assessments and surveys
-Rare threatened and endangered species consultation and coordination
-Identification of invasive species and macroinvertebrates; macroinvertebrate enumeration; endangered species consultation; native plant identification; identification of taxonomic groups of macro invertebrates
-Responsibilities will be split between the office and field approximately 50/50
-Ability to work in a team environment
-Responsibilities will support projects within our site/land development municipal and environmental projects


Required Qualifications:
Qualifications:
*2 years of relevant experience
*Bachelors degree in Environmental Engineering Environmental Science Biology or related degree
*Experience with the following is a plus:
oNPDES and EPA permitting for residential developments; PA is a must OH is a plus
oPADEP Chapter 102 and 105 and Army Corp of Engineers 404 permitting requirements and process
oWetland field determinations and categorization in accordance with the USFW Classification of Wetlands and Deep-Water Habitats and the USACE Wetland Delineation Manual
