Job Description
Please apply online at -Wilkins Elementary School is seeking an elementary classroom teacher to join their learning community for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is responsible for helping to design and implement a rich curriculum dynamic student-centered instruction and performance-based assessment at the early elementary level. A qualified applicant will be knowledgeable in the content area standards and work-study practices and demonstrate a commitment to bringing learning to life for students of all ability levels. Strong collaboration and communication skills as well as a commitment to their growth are required in this - Successful experience and/or training in the field or level within the last five years.- Demonstrated commitment to Engage Support and Challenge All Learners.- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues to support a positive school climate- Experience with standards-based grading and competency education- Proficiency in creating and implementing performance-based assessments in the classroom- Demonstrated strategies for differentiation at all levels to support a Multi-Tiered System of Supports model- Demonstrated instructional skills at the elementary level particularly in the area of research-based best practices in literacy.- Ability to incorporate brain-based and social-emotional learning strategies into instruction- Enthusiastic articulate creative people-oriented and caring.- Expert in working with elementary school-aged students and their : Elementary Education Teacher (1810 or 1811)
