As a Senior Pro-Vice Chancellor Teaching and Learning you will:
- Set and lead Deakins long-term learning and teaching strategy ensuring alignment with the Universitys values academic ambitions and broader institutional direction.
- Oversee the design and continuous improvement of Deakins digital learning environment ensuring it meets university needs and enhances academic quality.
- Lead and develop a high-performing and inclusive team of academic and professional team members across campuses.
- Shape and contribute to major transformation programs at Deakin particularly those related to learning innovation workforce capability and/or educational reform.
To be successful youll have:
- A PhD and academic profile consistent with senior leadership in a research-intensive university.
- Demonstrated leadership in university-wide learning and teaching strategy with proven ability to deliver transformation at scale.
- Experience leading large multi-functional teams of academic and professional team members in a complex multi-campus environment.
- Deep understanding of national and global higher education trends including digital education pedagogy and assessment transformation assurance of learning and academic capability development.
