Who are we looking for
We are seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to play a key role in GHDs Winning Work team supporting the delivery of high-quality winning proposals.
This position will see you work closely with the proposal teams to plan the process for strategic complex and large multidisciplinary proposals
This position can be based in Adelaide or Perth
Working with an energetic and high performing team this position offers a variety of work and will see you:
- Contribute to pursuit and proposal strategies working with Pursuit Leaders/Specialists on key GHD pursuits
- Drive and manage proposal activities for strategic complex and large opportunities overseeing the proposal document(s) from initiation to submission
- Work with the Market Leaders Technical Leaders and pursuit teams to develop winning strategies for bids
- Work with Technical Authors to ensure content is relevant and targeted guiding structure responses and effective communication strategies
- Lead bid workshops to develop winning themes and quality content
- Review and manage bid action plans to maintain focus and timely preparation of bids
- Contribute to our internal knowledge database content library and proposal systems
- Assist with the preparation for proposal presentations and client pitches
- Contribute to special projects and support the practice of effective knowledge management and adoption of AI initiatives
To be successful in this role you will require the following:
- 10 years of experience in a similar role within a professional services or corporate environment
- Demonstrated experience managing proposals and associated governance through the entire winning work cycle.
- Advanced skills with the Microsoft Office suite
- Strong business acumen to provide both strategic and commercial value for the creation of bids
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and for print quality graphics and production material is advantageous but not essential
- Anticipates client needs and takes action to provide high-quality outcomes.
