Location: Raleigh North Carolina (On-site)(Need EX-USPS Candidate)(Preffered Secruity Clearence)

Overview:
The USPS is seeking an experienced SME to provide expert-level support and contribute to the evolution and maintenance of enterprise email systems. The role focuses on managing Microsoft Exchange and Broadcom/Symantec Mail Gateway environments ensuring email security and supporting integrations with other platforms.
Position:
Contract (W2 only)
Responsibilities:

Provide expert-level technical support for enterprise email infrastructure

Manage user accounts distribution lists and policies within Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
-
Maintain and troubleshoot Broadcom/Symantec Mail Gateway (SMG)
-
Ensure compliance with email security best practices (spam filtering antivirus encryption)
-
Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to email delivery protocols and configuration
-
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration with other platforms
-
Analyze logs and network behavior to support system monitoring and diagnostics
Requirement Qualifications:
-
Bachelors with 18 years or Masters with 16 years of relevant experience
-
Extensive experience with Broadcom/Symantec Mail Gateway (SMG)
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange and Office 365
-
Proficient in SMTP POP IMAP and email server management
-
Strong troubleshooting skills and understanding of security protocols
-
Excellent communication and multi-tasking abilities
-
Preferred: MCSE certification network/log analysis experience familiarity with HTTP SSL SSH
