Job Summary:
This role is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in an acute care hospital setting. The technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures utilizing various equipment and techniques and adhering to established safety protocols. The position requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals and efficient documentation practices.

Responsibilities:
- Performing nuclear medicine procedures according to established protocols.
- Preparing patients for procedures explaining the process and ensuring comfort.
- Operating and maintaining nuclear medicine equipment.
- Administering radiopharmaceuticals as prescribed.
- Acquiring and processing images using appropriate techniques.
- Analyzing images and preparing reports for physicians.
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation.
- Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Adhering to radiation safety regulations and protocols.
- Performing quality control checks on equipment and supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Current BLS certification.
- ARRT or NMTCB certification.
- Active California state license.
- Minimum of one year of experience (first-timers accepted).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in both outpatient and inpatient settings.
- Experience with various types of nuclear medicine procedures.
- Proficiency in using different types of nuclear medicine equipment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Special Considerations:
- Floating between outpatient center and hospital units is required.
- No on-call requirements.
- Must be noted at time of submittal regarding RTO restrictions.
