Job Description
Role: Scrum Master
Location: Greenwood Village CO
Duration: Contract 12 Months
Description:
A Client in Greenwood Village CO is immediately seeking a passionate results-driven Scrum Master to lead and support two Agile development teams. This individual will champion Agile values and best practices while driving delivery across cross-functional stakeholders. The ideal candidate has deep experience in Scrum excels at backlog management facilitates high-performing teams and thrives in fast-paced collaborative environments.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as Scrum Master for two Agile teams fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Scrum Master will facilitate all standard Scrum ceremonies: daily stand-ups sprint planning retrospectives and reviews.
- Manage team backlogs in collaboration with Product Owners ensuring stories are well-defined and prioritized
- Track sprint progress and team velocity using Agile tools (e.g. Jira Rally VersionOne)
- Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum best practices
- Identify and remove blockers to maintain sprint commitments and on-time delivery
- Act as liaison between teams and cross-functional stakeholders ensuring alignment on goals priorities and timelines
- As a Scrum Master you will monitor sprint metrics to identify trends and proactively address performance issues
- Support Agile maturity across the organization by sharing learnings and driving adoption.
Requirements
- Scrum Master Certification (CSM PSM or equivalent) required
- 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams
- Proven experience managing team backlogs sprint planning and cross-functional communication
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum SAFe Kanban)
- Proficient with Agile project management tools such as Jira Azure DevOps or similar
- Excellent communication facilitation and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Skills:
- Experience leading distributed or remote teams
- Experience in telecom enterprise systems or fast-paced technology environments
- Familiarity with scaled Agile environments (e.g. SAFe)
- Background in software development QA or product management
