Mission Technologies a division of HII is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Mechanical Technician to join our team at our Alexandria VA location.
The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and experienced professional with extensive experience in the design and maintenance input of facility HVAC equipment develop bill of materials and assist in training.
This role is part of a pending contract proposal. We are actively interviewing to identify qualified candidates in anticipation of a successful award.
Essential Job Responsibilities
You will work closely with engineering staff and customers as the lead technician to design and develop challenging facility building management systems in support of unique US national security objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related experience
- Licensed Master Mechanical Technician certification
- Experience with maintenance of facility HVAC equipment including chilled water systems and refrigerant systems
- Experience with worldwide installations and handling
- Licensed EPA refrigerant handling
- Thorough working knowledge of AC/DC theory direct digital controls and solid-state electronics
- An active TS/SCI security clearance
Preferred Requirements
- Experience working well within multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated experience with residential systems and automated controls
- Experience implementing HVAC controls and Human Machine Interface systems
