Job Summary:
The QC Chemist performs routine and advanced testing of various samples using analytical techniques and instruments in a cGMP laboratory setting. The role ensures compliance with quality standards data integrity and good documentation practices while supporting raw materials testing product release and investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine advanced and critical testing as assigned
- Operate and maintain analytical instruments such as Karl Fischer HPLC GC Particle Size Analyzer and ICP
- Perform raw materials testing and support product release activities
- Lead investigation activities related to quality deviations
- Ensure compliance with cGMP data integrity and good documentation practices
- Maintain accurate and complete records and reports
- Follow lab safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturing and R&D needs
Must-Haves:
- Bachelors degree (BS or BA) in Physical Sciences or related field preferred
- Experience conducting advanced and/or critical testing in a QC lab
- Working knowledge of raw materials testing and product release
- Proficient with instruments such as Karl Fischer HPLC GC Particle Size Analyzer and ICP
- Strong understanding of data integrity cGMP and documentation practices
- Proficient in English (spoken and written)
- Experience with inhalation products (MDI) is a plus
Working Conditions:
- Work in a cGMP lab or manufacturing environment with PPE
- May require shift work (day evening night) including weekends/holidays as needed
- Physical ability to stand or walk for most of an 8-hour shift and lift up to 10 kg
