Job Description

This is a remote position.

Schedule:

  • Part-time (4 hours/day Monday-Friday)

  • Specific schedule: 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM EST

Client Timezone: Eastern Standard Time (EST)


Responsibilities:
  • Reconcile bank accounts for multiple property management clients (approximately 20 buildings)

  • Facilitate regular payments to vendors including weekly garbage collection services and other recurring building maintenance providers

  • Perform data entry tasks related to property management financial records

  • Process payments for each individual buildings separate bank account

  • Collaborate with existing virtual assistant team member during overlapping work hours

  • Participate in building and refining business systems and processes

  • Provide real-time support and communication during business hours for systems-related questions

Requirements:

  • Experience with bookkeeping software preferably QuickBooks (Buildium software training will be provided)

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills

  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently

  • Excellent communication skills for team collaboration

  • Availability to work during EST business hours (specifically 12-4pm or 1-5pm time slot)

  • Willingness to learn and adapt to property management industry processes

Scopes:

  • Part-time position starting at 4 hours per day Monday through Friday

  • Potential to expand to full-time role as business grows

  • Work schedule aligned with existing team member (12-4pm or 1-5pm EST)

  • Focus solely on client portfolio bookkeeping (not companys own real estate investments)

  • No payroll responsibilities or onsite property staff management

  • No requirement for property management industry experience

  • Opportunity to grow into broader administrative support role alongside bookkeeping duties
