This position is responsible for Avery Dennison Materials Planning and Purchasing-related operations. Monitors all inventory movements and takes action to resolve any issues implementing continuous improvement activities to address these issues. Ensures timely procurement of required materials maintaining optimal pricing and quality standards.
- Monitor and control stock levels.
- Determine the quantities and materials needed to ensure optimal inventory levels analyze and plan material requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies in production sales distribution general business conditions and other related areas.
- Issue purchase orders based on insufficient or minimum stock levels.
- Prepare necessary reports in categories within the responsibility area on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Perform periodic counts.
- Verify the compliance of the count results with the system.
- Detect stock errors and make the necessary corrections by consulting with the relevant department and/or team.
- Control the stock consistency of warehouse inflow and outflow movements.
- Ensure control and report the correction of incorrect stock entries.
- Support the Shipping and Warehouse departments when necessary.
- Convert Purchasing Request Forms received from departments into Order Forms and forward them to the relevant companies.
- Contact domestic/international suppliers to obtain delivery dates and control material arrivals. Sharing information with relevant departments.
- Following up opened subcontracting orders with subcontractors.
- Checking the bid price of products arriving at the factory against the price on the delivery note and/or invoice.
- Coordinating with the Quality Control Department regarding faulty incoming materials and carrying out improvement work.
- Researching domestic/international equivalent materials.
- Inspecting subcontracted order production on-site when necessary.
- Checking vendor invoices.
- Ensuring complete and timely approval of incoming documents and submitting them to the finance department.
- Following up the shipment process (cargo shipping customs) of the products to be procured.
- Following up on assigned tasks.
Qualifications :
- Preferably a graduate of a relevant university undergraduate program.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High analytical thinking and problem-solving skills strong management and organizational skills.
- Disciplined and responsible.
- Able to work systematically and report on work periodically.
