Job Description

Work schedule: to be discussed (must be available 1 weekend out of 2) 
Permanent full-time position 
Workplace: 1290 Chem. Dion Sherbrooke QC J1R 0R8 Canada

As Assistant Store Manager you will work under the direction of the Branch Manager. You will manage a team oversee day-to-day operations and ensure that exceptional customer service is delivered while meeting corporate objectives.

In particular you will be responsible for : 

  • Promoting a welcoming and safe workplace;
  • Applying environmental and Health & Safety rules and procedures;
  • Assist the Branch Manager with monthly Health & Safety audits; 
  • Supervise daily operations such as scheduling sales and production targets; 
  • Support employees by participating in daily tasks and operational initiatives;
  • Assist the Branch Manager in employee communications.
  • Work in collaboration with various internal partners in the follow-up and application of business processes;
  • Carry out with the Branch Manager quarterly evaluations of hourly employees;
  • Perform various administrative tasks (cash deposits employee payroll schedules etc.);
  • Support the Branch Manager in the process of recruiting welcoming and integrating new employees;
  • Act as ambassador in any organizational change and play an active role in the roll-out to your branch.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum of three (3) years experience in customer service;
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in a management role;
  • College or university diploma;
  • Experience in retail or automotive sales is an asset.

  • Strong communication skills (written verbal and presentation);
  • Problem-solving skills; 
  • Collaborative and team-oriented;
  • Good time management and prioritization skills; 
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy.
