DescriptionTheTraining and Development Analystis responsible for facilitating and executing employee development programs maintaining training systems for IS0-9000 compliance and delivering training programs and maintaining a training tracking system that will enhance skills and capabilities of employees in the production manufacturing plant. Assists Sr. HR Manager and HR Manager in administering training content scheduling classes maintaining a training tracking system and conducting training or Plant team members.
This position will serve our Water HeaterDivision located inMontgomery Alabama.
Responsibilities- Works with newly hired and new temporary assignment Production employees to facilitate onboarding ensuring employees trained and educated on our products key workplace and safety practices and expectations of their specific role.
- Partners directly with leadership and key departments to establish and document training protocols that continue to develop and support the on boarding process.
- Assists the Production management team in providing additional feedback and suggestions on what training may be missing or needed to effectively onboard and retain new employees.
- May provide progression training for employees upon advancement to new roles training on the skills functions and processes associated with each position.
- Coaches newly trained employees on successful day-to-day functional operations supporting safety quality and productivity.
- May observe and coach production employees as deemed appropriate based on daily interactions and observations.
- Provides oversight for compliance training completed through the Learning Management System for the facility documents training related activities to ensure accurate record keeping.
- Serves as a resource for Production employees whenever there are questions of any kind pertaining to work processes operation of machinery and workplace safety.
- Serves as support to Supervisors and Leads in providing information on day-to-day operations i.e. shifts hours break times the production Chain of Command where tools and work aids are stored safety issues quality issues etc.
- May provide retraining for employees after injuries near misses or procedural changes as needed.
- The environment is not a temperature-controlled environment.
- Requires walking and standing for extended periods of time while facilitating training.
- Production demands may require overtime and/or evening or weekend scheduling.
- Analyze training needs to develop new training content and programs or modify and improve existing programs.
Qualifications- Bachelors degree in business Human Resources or related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 years of experience in Training and Development.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and training programs.
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry standards and regulatory requirements.
