The Project Manager (PM) serves in the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) Occupational Health Branch (OHB) as the responsible party for the administrative services related to contract staff in OHB as well as additional budgetary duties as described below.
The PM will serve as the chief provider of administrative services required by these staff including program planning and analysis cost projections budgeting tracking of personnel and program expenditures navigating reimbursements and project purchases. This may include writing and tracking purchase agreements contracts and grants.
Additionally the PM will contribute to tasks related the broader OHB budget including state expenses and contracts. These tasks include tracking branch monthly expenditures across multiple program funds including personnel travel legal IT special projects and indirect costs.
This is a term-limited position through June 30 2026 but may be extended if funding is available.
Salary range: $84768.00 to $106104.00 annually depending on experience/qualifications.
This is a mostly remote position but does require physical presence at the Richmond CA campus at least once per week. Interested candidates should provide a CV and cover letter with application.

General office and laboratory setting indoors temperature controlled.
The remainder of work can be done remotely. Must have functional internet access at remote location.
