This position serves as the Project Leader for bringing new products to market and managing the product life cycle; reviews and recommends product forecasting and market analysis for the replacement parts market; and initiates product enhancement through the problem resolution and warranty process.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Monitor market trends and identify new product development and marketing opportunities. Monitor competitor product offerings and identify developments that require a competitive response. Solicit collect and analyze Customer and Sales Representatives input regarding the demand for new products along with the desired features functions and benefits of such products. Estimate the investment required and expected return on new business opportunities. Develop and propose strategies to take advantage of new business opportunities or to counter competitive activity.
- Develop product launch and market entry plan including identification of target Customers for early adoption of new products. Establish sales targets (volume timing etc.) and monitor progress.
- Achieve annual sales volume and gross margin objectives.
- Serve as the technical resource for all assigned products for the Parts Sales & Product Management Department.
- Forecast item usage and monitor performance of new and existing items to meet Customer requirements. Identify problems and trends that may inhibit making delivery performance goals.
- Gather and analyze all warranty related issues for a product or product line to identify and pursue areas of product enhancements design problem resolution or manufacturing problem resolution.
- Proactively engage (e.g. phone calls site visits) Customers to grow sales for assigned product lines.
- Monitor and report sales performance for assigned product lines by utilizing ERP system and reporting tools. Identify and implement new and existing procedure improvements to increase team efficiency.
- Provide Customer and Internal facing Sales and Technical presentations to promote new and existing products.
- Assist in the development of marketing and sales promotional material for new improved or existing products or product lines.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned to advance corporate strategic goals.
Education and Experience:
- A BS in engineering is required.
- A minimum of 2 years of product management or technical sales experience is preferred.

- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills preferred
- Proficient in Smartsheet preferred.
Essential Physical Abilities:
- Ability to stand or sit at a desk using a computer 80% of the time.
- Ability to travel 15-20% of the time.

Compensation and Benefits
Base Pay Range: $75000 to $90000 annual pay based on skills and experience
