Job Description
We are currently looking for an Engineer Surveyor (Lifts) to join our Sales team on a full-time basis. Engineer surveyor is going to work in the Glasgow or Gateshead area carrying out equipment surveys for Lift Modernisation projects.
Key Accountabilities
- Accountable for site visits and surveying the equipment in according to KONE standards respecting safety rules
- Takes measurements and completes the necessary documentation and pictures requested
- Uploads data from site surveys into CRM
- Updates global database by request and provides reports
- Takes part in client and internal meetings work groups related to quality and technical issues provides technical recommendations maintains excellent relationships with customers
Professional Requirements
- Previous experience in lift service/maintenance/installation ideally with old model of lifts
- Technical knowledge within the Lift Industry on various types/manufacturers of equipment
- Curious attitude towards equipment and environment
- Knowledge of Safety and Maintenance actions (for example: how to access the machine room shaft stop the lift etc.)
- Strong customer skills
We are interested to speak to Lift engineers who would like to step into the surveying field work closely with clients and contribute to customer Lift Modernisation/Major repairs solutions.
