BlueCare has recently embarked on an exciting transformation in Making BlueCare Better. Our community service have strengthen their Neighbourhood model with the focus of placing clients at the heart of our neighbourhood care. With an established 7 Networks each network neighbourhood delivers true client centre care that allows those we care for to maintain their independence and control over their own lies in their home for as long as possible.
Your part in the BlueCare Network
With the transformation comes new opportunities. We are seeking a Community Engagement Lead to be based at either Ipswich or Toowoomba. Reporting to the Network Manager in that region the role is responsible for identifying and leading the pursuit of strategically aligned new community business opportunities and driving growth strategies across the Network whilst maintaining a strong connection and network of internal and external stakeholders. In doing this the role is accountable for coordinating stakeholder communication collaboration and engagement ensuring optimal profiling of BlueCare within the communities we serve.
From a community perspective the Community Engagement Lead is responsible for establishing monitoring and maintaining constructive relationships with partner organisations community groups and aligned entities providing skilled public representation that builds BlueCares community profile. This role facilitates constructive stakeholder engagement resourcing local BlueCare operations with meaningful connections and processes that maintain effective established links.

You will be a growth strategist an opportunity identifier with the ability to leverage market knowledge and utilising strong negotiation skills to widen the profile of services. Additionally you will also possess the following skills and experience.
Qualifications in a health community service or other relevant discipline or equivalent community sector experience
Extensive experience in aged care / health care / human services sector
Demonstrated understanding and sound knowledge of client centred community-based care services delivery or willingness to learn quickly
Extensive experience managing and delivering corporate messaging to senior stakeholders and groups
Previous experience in stakeholder management and community engagement roles
Professional standard of verbal and written communication and experience liaising with senior internal and external stakeholders
