The Delta by Marriott in Utica is looking for candidates interested in the food and hospitality industry. This property is the premier banquet and event venue in Utica with the most meeting space and restaurant open for breakfast lunch and dinner.
This open position is for Breakfast - Lunch. Hours would typically be 6am-2pm.
Associates will learn the Marriott brand standards and expectations while working alongside our veteran team of chefs and the food and beverage director.

Summary of Position:
Accurately and efficiently cook meats fish vegetables soups and other hot food products as well as prepare and portion food products prior to cooking. Also perform other duties in the areas of food and final plate preparation including plating and garnishing of cooked items and preparing appropriate garnishes for all hot menu item plates.
Besides the regular restaurant duties our cooks work as a team preparing for large banquets when necessary prepping and preparing meals based on the event order set by the sales team and customers.
