Job Description
The individual in this position will lead the investigational drug services (IDS) pharmacy across the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) enterprise and act as the primary liaison to the various research offices. In addition to managing the investigational drug services pharmacy team and various drug studies this individual will work closely with the Medication Safety Use & Policy director to standardize processes and drive operational efficiency for research activities within Pharmacy Services across the system.
Additional Job Description
Minimum Training and Education: Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelors degree in pharmacy. Completion of a pharmacy residency preferred. Required Licensure Certifications Registrations: Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or American Red Cross BLS for Healthcare Providers certification is required.
