I-9 Onboarding Specialist

Purpose of the Position
As a key member of the HR Onboarding team the I-9 Onboarding Specialist ensures every new hire has a smooth compliant and professional start to their journey. Youll play a vital role in maintaining legal compliance while delivering an exceptional employee experience.
What Youll Do
In this fast-paced and rewarding role you will:
- Review and verify all I-9 submissions to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Confirm and track required documentation following up with employees as needed
- Complete E-Verification for every new hire
- Organize update and securely store daily onboarding records for Recruiting Account Management and HR leadership
- Assist with drug screen registrations and track Pre-Adverse/Adverse notifications
- Collaborate directly with Recruiting Account Management and new hires to resolve issues quickly and efficiently
- Provide timely reporting and updates to HR leadership
- Take on special projects and contribute to continuous improvement in the onboarding process
What You Bring
Were looking for someone who is detail-driven collaborative and thrives in a high-volume environment. The ideal candidate will have:
- High school diploma or equivalent (HR/admin experience preferred)
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Independent problem-solving skills with sound judgment and discretion
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills-able to be both congenial and assertive when needed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
- A strong sense of confidentiality and professionalism
