We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative (BDR) to join our team and contribute to our continued growth and success.
Role Overview:
As a BDR you will play a crucial role in generating new business opportunities and supporting our sales team. Your primary responsibilities will include booking appointments following up on inquiries maintaining customer records and effectively collaborating with various teams to maximise our sales pipeline. This role requires excellent communication skills a proactive approach and a strong understanding of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
- Appointment Setting:
- Book appointments for the sales team for Sage Intacct and Sage 200.
- Coordinate and book partner switches.
- Customer Engagement:
- Follow up on inbound product inquiries via phone email and live chat.
- Answer product and business-related questions providing excellent customer service.
- Represent the company professionally in all communications.
- Lead Management:
- Follow up on campaign activity effectively.
- Maintain a pipeline of marketing qualified leads for future bookings.
- Qualify leads to a level of BANT (Budget Authority Need Timeline)
- Use LinkedIn to search for contacts and generate new leads.
- CRM Management:
- Keep and maintain contact company lead and opportunity records in HubSpot and Lead Forensics up to date and cleansed.
- Complete daily call and email tasks effectively updating records in HubSpot.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with the Sales Marketing and wider team to maximise the sales pipeline.
- Time Management:
- Manage own time effectively ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Product Knowledge:
- Gain and maintain knowledge around Sage 200 and Sage Intacct.
- Gain knowledge of itas solutions and our service offerings.
Essential Skills and Knowledge:
- 1 Year experience in a Sales Environment
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer Service: Strong ability to provide exceptional customer service.
- CRM Management: Experience with CRM systems preferably HubSpot.
- Lead Qualification: Understanding of BANT and lead qualification processes.
- Time Management: Ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Strong ability to work collaboratively with different teams.
- Product Knowledge: Basic understanding of Sage 200 and Sage Intacct (training will be provided).
- Buyer Knowledge: Understanding of the ideal target audience and their buying process.
Desirable Skills and Knowledge:
- Experience in Telemarketing or Sales: Prior experience in a BDR telemarketing or sales role.
- Knowledge of Sage Products: Familiarity with Sage 200 and Sage Intacct
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using LinkedIn for lead generation and Lead Forensics.
- Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of marketing principles and campaign follow-up.
- Proactive and self-motivated with a strong desire to achieve goals.
- Professional demeanour and ability to represent the company positively.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
