We are seeking a suitably experienced motivated and dedicated individual to join our team asWomen and Girls Community Participation Coordinator.This role is specifically dedicated to ensuring increased participation at all levels of football and ensuring equity and access for all West Australian Women and is a fixed term 2 year contract.
Key Responsibilities:
Assisting the WA Women and Girls Community Football Manager with the operational and administration aspects of delivering the Women and Girls Game Development Action Plan. The principal objective of this role is to support and advise the game at community level focusing on regional support and metro participation initiatives.
Support the implementation of All-Girls participation offerings including Auskick Superkick Nines and school competitions
Provide support to clubs and Centre coordinators in the delivery of all-girls offerings.
Regularly monitoring AskNicely participant feedback for Auskick & Year Three Girls and supporting staff clubs & Centres to improve participant experience.
Deliver other targeted initiatives to improve retention of female participants in programs and competitions.
Support the Participation Program Action Plans (Auskick Superkick Nines & School Competitions) Cultural Diversity Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and Disability Action Plans as it relates to Women & Girls.
Key Experience Required:
Essential:
An understanding of WA Football structure and system
Experience in delivering events and programs
Understanding of community football/participation programs or similar in another sport
Well-developed verbal and written communication interpersonal and presentation skills
Demonstrated personal initiative and ability to work effectively unsupervised and in a team
Experience working across complex and high-profile stakeholders
Experience in positively affecting change
Ability to lead and interact confidently with groups of participants and stakeholders.
Current WA Drivers License
Working with Children card
Desirable:
Understanding the various segments of Community Football (Club and School) in Western Australia
Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent industry experience
Coaching and/or Umpiring Accreditation.
