Summary
Were seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist to join our team at Deel. Theyll be responsible for overseeing the successful implementation and data migration of payroll systems for Deels clients. You will assist with the full payroll implementation process ensuring that clients data is accurately transferred systems are properly configured and the transition is seamless. Youll collaborate closely with internal teams and external stakeholders guiding clients through the setup and migration phases while offering ongoing support and training.
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing kickoff meetings and managing project plans for global payroll rollouts across multiple countries.
Coordinate project review calls manage project streams and handle scope changes or schedule adjustments.
Support client payroll process setup including data requirements and payroll calendar management.
Maintain project documentation including plans status updates and process documentation.
Help configure payroll systems reports and interfaces for parallel payroll and the first two months of live payroll.
Assist with client go-live transitions ensuring sign-offs and validating project implementation.
Generate reports to analyze audit and reconcile payroll data including GL report mapping when necessary.
Serve as a secondary point of contact for clients attending weekly calls and reporting on project status risks and actions.
Support data migration ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international tax and labor laws.
Assist with testing and change management to ensure a smooth payroll transition for clients.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field.
3 years of experience in payroll implementation and payroll operations.
Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance across multiple countries.
Experience with payroll systems and software.
Client-facing project management experience preferred.
Project management certification (e.g. CAPM) a plus.
Excellent communication collaboration and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage tasks under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
