Summary:
Accountable for developing/sustaining the highest possible level of customer service. This position is responsible for the the day-to-day execution of the department. Create procedures for generating quotes. Divide order entry tasks among the customer service team members. Ensure that product is delivered on time. Address Establishes and builds resolutions to customer problems. Prepare sales presentations contracts and proposals.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure premier service and full customer satisfaction
Main point of contact for designated customers.
Build and maintain strong relationships with Customers point-of-contacts
Processes quotations per customer requests
Provides Engineering with required documentation related to customer requests
Resolve conflicts and provide satisfactory solutions to customers in a timely manner
Maintain Customer Portals and utilize EDI Systems to retrieve information and submit account information
Interface between the customer and estimating department to provide necessary RFQ information
Oversee product and service warranties to ensure customer/product resolution
Leads and finalizes customers questionnaires and surveys on-time for designated accounts
Develops positive relationships with existing new and target customers
Support as necessary capture order entry
Additional Duties as assigned
Train mentor manage customer service representatives and support personnel.
Allocate and delegate department responsibilities
Assist the President in planning and establishing business objectives.
Assist the President in determining possible courses of conduct.
Make final decision of quotes under $2500
Provide actual advice to customers determining the best products for the customers needs
Use discretion and independent judgment to evaluate and sign customer documents. i.e. NDAs
Will manage the sales department along with Program Managers.
Requirements: Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful job performance will be considered. Typical qualifications would be:
5-8 years business and sales experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience with an order entry software system.
Knowledge of pricing strategies and demonstrated negotiation techniques
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Good phone/video conferencing skills and the ability to interact professionally with others both internally and externally
Must have strong interpersonal skills working with internal and external customers
Ability to add subtract multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers common fractions and decimals; ability to perform price comparisons that include percentage differences
Hands-on approach. Willing to touch parts to ensure execution leading by example
Must be able capable and willing to troubleshoot and do problem solving to improve customer experience
High Energy self-motivated self-started team player and willingness to learn
Ability to work in a high-concentration and fast-paced manufacturing environment
Must applicable meet ITAR requirements.
