Job Description:
The Senior IT Data/Database Analyst position will be responsible for managing and analyzing large datasets to derive meaningful insights that drive business decisions and strategies. This role will involve working closely with cross-functional teams to identify data requirements develop data models and implement data-driven solutions. This position will also play a key role in ensuring data quality integrity and security throughout the organization.

Examples of Work
Data Analysis and Interpretation:
Identify collect and analyze structured and unstructured data from various sources.
Analyze and troubleshoot complex queries.
Develop data visualizations reports and dashboards.
Data Modelling and Database Management:
Design and Implement data models schemas and database structures to support efficient data storage and retrieval.
Optimize database performance and ensure data integrity and security.
Applying Oracle patches and updates to keep the database up-to-date and secure.
Installing configuring and upgrading Oracle APEX applications.
Installing configuring and upgrading Oracle software and related products.
Data Integration and ETL:
Collaborate with IT teams to define data integration requirements and design Extract Transfer Load (ETL) processes.
Extract data from multiple sources transform and cleanse it and load it into target systems.
Develop and maintain data integration workflows and automation scripts.
General Duties:
Consults with end users peers and management on data/database issues.
Assists and mentors peers and subordinates.
Requirements / Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:Associate Degree in Computer Science/IT and three years related experience two of which must be as Data/Database Analyst.
Preferred Qualifications: experience with Oracle Database development Oracle Application Express (APEX) Experience and knowledge of Nebraska Tax Programs.
